Salvation

Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own sacrifice on the cross, obtained eternal redemption for the believer. In its broadest sense salvation include regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification (SBC, 2019).

"Jesus said to him [Peter], 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the father except through me."

-John 14:6

"For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training s to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions , and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people  for his own possession who are zealous for good works. Declare these things; exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard you."

-Titus 2:11-15

god's word-holy bible

The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God's revelation of Himself to man. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. Therefore, all Scripture is totally true and trustworthy. It reveals the principles by which God judges us, and therefore, is, and will remain to the end of the world the true center of the Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried. All Scripture is a testimony to Christ, who is Himself the focus of divine revelation.

"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."

-2 Timothy 3:16-17
